Its primary purpose is to make a positive social impact through events, activities, experiences, and programs of cultural / artistic / environmental / social importance. It is a for-profit enterprise because that is the only credible way to demonstrate economic viability, and therefore universal applicability and sustainability, of business models utilized therein, e.g. family farming and various culturally- or educationally-driven programs. However, Avery Township is also committed to providing facilities / infrastructure / base of operations for non-profits with complementary missions.
